Calculator

Last week, Monday. I was watching a Korean drama at the corridor, then suddenly someone approached me. A guy from the other classroom. He asked me if he may borrow my scientific calculator. Since we're just a room apart, I let him borrow it. Unexpectedly, my teacher in General Chemistry didn't show up in our class. So my classmates decided to leave our room early. It was around 9 o'clock in the morning. I went to his classroom to get my calculator but they're still answering their test. So I just left the calculator to him thinking that he'll send me a message after using it since my name and phone number is on the calculator's cover.Hours have passed he didn't even text me.I got nervous. My Uncle gave me that calculator, he'll scold at me if I lost it. I'm dead. Thursday, I went to CEA early to find that guy.The funny thing is, I don't know his name. I let a guy borrow my stuff without even knowing his name. Like wtf? (Actually, I was about to ask his name, but I... I feel sheepish.. LOL)"I need to trust Kuyang Calculator. He looked nice naman. 'Di naman masamang magtiwala, diba?"Today, Monday. I went to school early. Guess what? I was stuck in traffic. Ang epic talaga. Yikes, I'm late.While walking upstairs, my friend called my name. She looked at me like I did something mysterious which made me curious about what is going on. I ran upstairs real quick then, Karlo gave me a plastic bag with packs of cookies in it. And what amazed me is that my calculator is in there. Which made me realize that, Karlo isn't the type to give food and he isn't generous enough to give me cookies. LOL.I sat on the floor, looking at my calculator. Then gazed at that guy's classroom.I felt embarrassed, and at the same time I felt happy. I really love cookies kasi.My friend patted my shoulder and told me that the guy is there. Outside their room.I looked at him. Wait, is it really him? He doesn't wear his glasses.. He approached me and thanked me.I asked his name, then he showed me his ID.I can't look at his eyes.I'm too shy to look at him.Lupa kainin mo na ako.Then he went back to his room.I removed the cover of my calculator and guess what? I saw this strip of paper. Which made my day.

Up 'til now, I still can't get over about it.I really appreciate his effort.He was a complete stranger.But now..I think we'll be friends.Thanks Chie for the cookies. Nice meeting you! And congratulations on passing your quiz.
